What's in a name?

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose,
By any other name would smell as sweet."
Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)

Laurier ~ Baytree
et ~ and
Rose ~ Rose

Laurier et Rose ~ quite simply Baytree and Rose.

Two of my favourite things ~ Roses; wild, rambling and in abundance or perfectly domed and staggeringly beautiful. Baytrees; paired, guarding doorways or adorned with roses, fairy lights or simply bare.

Domed roses ~ Jane Packer
